Inna Faliks

Hailed by the critics for her generosity and expressive way of making every note indispensable to the musical discourse, the American pianist Inna Faliks, Ukrainian-born, debuted with the Chicago Symphony Orchestra at age 15, thus signing the early stage of a remarkable concert career thanks to which she has already played a leading role in the world, from Carnegie Hall to the Salle Cortot, from Russia to Japan.
For her appearance at the Fazioli Concert Hall, Inna Faliks introduces herself with a wide interpretative palette in bright colors: her program will feature the relentless and powerful Russian composer Shchedrin, and an improvisational and stormy Beethoven, going through intense and poetic Schumann miniatures. To crown it all, instead of the piece by Clarice Assade formerly announced, Inna Faliks will perform a piece dedicated to her by the russian composer and violinist Ljova Zhurbin, for piano and historical recording.

« What's also intriguing is Faliks' prowess in rendering each piece
with a keen combination of expressive acuity and textural clarity...»
