GIUSEPPE ALBANESE piano
If you look through Giuseppe Albanese’s engagements for the next Concert Season you’ll have a cross-section of the intensity and versatilità of his career: in just a few months time he is due to perform the “Concerto in do” by Nino Rota at the “Auditorium Parco della Musica” in Rome, at the Teatro San Carlo in Naples and at the Politeama Garibaldi in Palermo; Liszt’s Concert nr. 1 at the Auditorium Toscanini in Turin and at the Teatro degli Arcimboldi in Milan, as well as Pokof’ev’s Concert nr. 5 and Tchaikovsky’s Concert nr. 1 at the Teatro dal Verme in Milan and Rachmaninov’s Concert nr. 2 at the Teatro Real in Madrid. This will be follone by a recital of Liszt’s music for MI.TO and at the Yuri Temirkanov’s Festival in St. Petersburg and eventually by the concerts at the Teatro Olimpico in Rome and at the Teatro la Fenice in Venice…
Two new CDs will be released shortly: the first with Debussy’s music for Amadeus and the second devoted to Nino Rota, for Naxos.
Already acclaimed in other concert halls of our region, Albanese makes his debut at the Fazioli Concert Hall with a catchy program: the first part is dedicated to the Chiaro di Luna theme whereas the second will highlight his acclaimed virtuosistic skills.
“Pianist Giuseppe Albanese is well-known to the Italian audience for his striking lucidity and clarity”
