ANDREA OLIVA flute
ANGELA HEWITT piano
At the “Fazioli Concert Hall” the year 2011 ends with a program of timeless beauty and elegance. The occasion is given by performers Andrea Oliva (born in 1977, leading flutist of the “Berliner Philharmoniker” and of the “Orchestra Nazionale di S.Cecilia”) and Angela Hewitt, international pianist star who has already performed at the “Fazioli Concert Hall”.
It is going to be a preview of the CD that the two artists will record in Berlin for "Hyperian" in the days following the concert.
Angela Hewitt met Andrea Oliva in 2008, during the “Trasimeno Music Festival”. After playing Bach’s Triple Concerto together they decided to cooperate on a permanent basis.
In February 2012 the 'Duo' will be at the “Wigmore Hall” with a French music program.
Andrea Oliva is one of the best flutists of his generation, a shining star in the world of flute.

If you want to experience sheer joy…Just go to a piano recital by Angela Hewitt. From the moment she steps sprightly on stage –with the enticing grace of the dancer she probably was in a former incarnation – you know that happiness and excitement are going to be there, in every single note she will play.
