The production of the copper wound strings

The length and thickness of the strings directly affects the overall quality of the sound and, above all, its ability to fit seamlessly into the tonal range of the piano as a whole.
To achieve this, Fazioli uses software that has been specially developed to optimize the working parameters of the strings in relation to the length of the instrument.
The bass strings are made by winding a copper thread around the steel heart of the string.
