Anna Tifu Giuseppe Andaloro

For a twist of fate, it was the Enescu Competition in Bucharest, in 2007, to launch Anna Tifu into the international scene. In fact, the young and beautiful Italian violinist feels very closed to Romania, the birthplace of his father, musician as well, to whom Anna owes her love for the violin. The most critical factor in her career was the meeting with Salvatore Accardo, to whom she still refer when it's time for her to debut with a new piece. His collaborations range goes from the Berlin Philharmonic Virtuosi to the Orchestra of RAI. Since a long time, she has been working in duo with Joseph Andaloro, regarded by critics as one of the foremost Italian pianists of the new generation. Many of our listeners will remember the concert that this amazing artist from Sicily offered at the Fazioli Hall in May 2006, a few months after his victory at the Busoni. The return of Andaloro in Sacile will highlight his fine qualities as a chamber musician, that are note-worthy as well as his talent as a soloist.

« (A. Tifu) ... one of the most extraordinary talents that I have ever met »

Salvatore Accardo

« Andaloro's hands covered the entire keyboard, up and down
at full speed and volume, but he never lost track of his sense of musicianship.
He created expressive music at the extremes of the instrument…»

Giuseppe Pennisi
