The Osiris Trio is one of the best-known European trios. Since 1988, when it was formed, the Trio has toured the five continents and has won outstanding awards, such as the “Philip Morris Selection” and the “Annie Bosboom Prijs”.
The Trio is also active in theatre productions and since 2001 is supported by the Dutch Ministry of Culture. Their rich discography includes a wide repertoire ranging from Haydn to contemporary composers. They have recorded the Messiaen’s “Quatuor pour le fin du Temps” (achieving top place in the rankings of the Dutch magazine "Luisters") as well as a collection of the most recent trios by contemporary Dutch authors (praised by the newspaper "Het Parool").
All three members hold teaching positions at the Royal Conservatoire in The Hague. The Osiris Trio will offer you a selection of pieces taken from their latest CD, recorded at “Fazioli Concert Hall” in 2010.
Tender musings and magical dialogues…such a mature performance of one of the highlights of the chamber music repertoire.
