Besides a degree in Piano from the Conservatory of Trento and further studies with renowned masters, he obtained an MA in Philosophy from the University of Bologna, an MSc from the LSE, and a PhD from the University of Trento. He was a researcher and lecturer at various universities in Italy and abroad and currently teaches at the Conservatory of Pesaro.
