Since then he has been invited to perform in the most important halls in Europe and North America. Critics have highlighted his inventive interpretations of Haydn’s sonatas and his adeptness in performing piano concertos from various eras, from Bach to Lutoslawski. Rabinovich, who is also a composer and visual artist, has a repertoire that spans six centuries, from Byrd to Boulez and beyond. After studying at the Juilliard School in New York, he was among the first students of Andr\u00e1s Schiff to be selected for the ‘Building Bridges’ series. He currently co-directs ChamberFest in Cleveland and ChamberFest West in Calgary with his wife, violinist Diana Cohen.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
The piano in symphonic guise.
