That event marked the start of his tours, especially in North America, and immediately projected him to a brilliant international concert career. Critics defined him \u201cthe Pavarotti of the piano\u201d for his lyricism and the \u201csuccessor of Rubinstein and Horowitz. In the autumn of 2016, he became the first Italian pianist to become a Faculty Member of Piano at Boston University. He was recently awarded the American Prize. He\u2019s the first Italian musician to receive this prestigious prize. Cherished both as soloist and chamber music pianist, he\u2019s today a Faculty Member of piano at one of the most prestigious musical institutions in the world, the Indiana University Jacobs School of Music.
