Blanca Uribe Colombian International Piano Competition: the competition took place for the first time in 2024 in Ibagué, Colombia, and has already established itself as one of the most significant musical events in Latin America. It is named in honour of the esteemed Colombian pianist Blanca Uribe, a celebrated concert pianist and educator who serves as a key reference for the competition thanks to her international experience. The competition not only serves as a platform for emerging talents, but also aims to position Colombia as a premier cultural destination for pianists and music enthusiasts worldwide. The event is held at the Salón Alberto Castilla of the ‘Conservatorio del Tolima’.
