Three distinct musical personalities with different backgrounds—yet sharing the same roots in Georgia—met in Vienna in 2019; from their very first thrilling performance, they realized a rare, shared journey awaited them. Their partnership is enriched by their respective international careers across Europe and the United States, as well as a shared vision of chamber music rooted in mutual listening, curiosity, and a constant quest for fresh interpretive perspectives. The program spans over two centuries of music history, juxtaposing the Classicism of Haydn, the contemporary writing of Michele Allegro, the refined Impressionist atmospheres of Gaubert, and the irresistible jazz energy of Kapustin. These four vastly different musical languages—united by a common spirit of invention and expressive freedom—find an ideal medium for dialogue in the Trio Revolution’s unique blend of timbres. The result is a concert rich in contrasts, colors, and vitality, designed to surprise and captivate from start to finish.
