Konstantin Emelyanov (Krasnodar, Russia, 1994) graduated from the Tchaikovsky Conservatory in Moscow, studying under Professor Sergei Dorensky, with the assistance of Professors Andrei Pisarev, Pavel Nersesyan, and Nikolai Lugansky. In 2017-2018, he also studied at the Rachmaninov Academy in Catania with Epifanio Comis. Among his numerous recognitions, the most notable is the third prize, along with several special awards, at the 2019 Tchaikovsky Competition in Moscow.

Since 2022, he has been based in Imola, where he is enrolled in the Senior course at the International Piano Academy “Incontri col Maestro” under Boris Petrushansky. In addition to an already intense concert career, he has an impressive discography. His latest album, featuring works by Bach, Rameau, and Rachmaninov, received five-star reviews from PhonoForum and Musica magazines.

Rina Sala Gallo Monza International Piano Competition: founded in 1947 by the famous pianist from Monza in collaboration with Arturo Benedetti Michelangeli, The Rina Sala Gallo Competition became a biennial in 1970. Supporting talented young pianists so that they can play on the most significant stages in the world is the mission of this event, recognized by the World Federation of Music Competitions of Geneva and the Alink-Argerich Foundation. The winners are supported through cash prizes and a network of concerts in Italy and abroad. The project involves public bodies, sponsors, partners, companies and individuals in the area.
