Jakob Aumiller – 2nd prize (Munich, Germany, 2001) In addition to the Casella Prize of the Premio Venezia, he has won numerous other recognitions, such as the first prize at the “Mary Smart Concerto Competition” of New York and at the “Giulio Rospigliosi” of Lamporecchio (Ischia) and at the “Lamberto Brunelli” of Vicenza. He was also awarded at the “Ettlingen” competition in Germany, at the “Cesar Franck” in Brussels and at the “Concours International de Piano de Lyon”. In 2022, he completed the three-year period at the Trento Conservatory under the guidance of Massimiliano Mainolfi, receiving praise and an honorable mention. He has already performed in Italy, Germany, Poland and the United States. He is the recipient of the “Carl-Heinz Illies” of the Deutsche Stiftung Musikleben Foundation.

Giacomo Menegardi – 1st prize (Belluno, Italy, 2000), graduated with honours and honourable mention under the guidance of Massimiliano Ferrati in Castelfranco Veneto, where he is continuing his studies with Stefano Andreatta. Of the over 40 competitions where he shone, it suffices to mention the Alkan Prize for piano Virtuosity and the Mozart of Lugano, where he was the winner, or the “Casagrande” of Terni and the Dublin competition, where he ranked as a semi-finalist. He has already performed in Italy, Spain, Germany, Belgium, France, Scotland, Ireland, Holland and the USA. His first album, “Humoresque”, was released by the KNS record label and was awarded five stars by Amadeus. The second, dedicated to Russian authors and recorded at the Fazioli Concert Hall, is coming out in 2024 with the magazine Suonare News.

Premio Venezia – Only pianists who have graduated with full marks from Conservatories or equal Musical Institutes are admitted to this prestigious competition, organized by the Amici della Fenice Foundation in collaboration with the Teatro La Fenice Foundation. The technical jury is formed by the artistic director of the Teatro La Fenice and five jurors designated by the Amici della Fenice.
