Valentin Malinin (Nizhniy Novgorod, Russia, 2001) is a student of Mira Marchenko at the Tchaikovsky Conservatory in Moscow. He is a fellow of the Vladimir Spivakov International Charitable Foundation and the New Names International Foundation. Among his rich list of awards, the following stand out: in 2023, the second prize of the XVII Tchaikovsky Competition, the „Jaén Prize“ (Spain 2021), and the „Vladimir Krainev“ of Moscow (Grand Prix 2019). He was also awarded at the Busoni in Bolzano (2019) and the Maria Canals (Spain, 2023). He participated in the renowned Rheingau Music Festival (Germany) and Rafael Orozco Piano Festival (Spain). Valentin has performed as a soloist and with orchestra in Austria, Germany, Italy, Spain, France and Switzerland. He also dedicates himself to composition and chamber music.
Alexander Scriabin International Piano Competition (Grosseto) – Created, instituted and directed by M ° Antonino Di Cristofano in 1999, the Alexander Scriabin International Piano Prize has always had as its primary objective the dissemination of the music of the great Russian composer and the enhancement of young keyboard talents. In the list of winners, there are several names of famous concert performers. In 2020 the Junior Scriabin Competition, open for young pianists up to 14 years old, was added to the main event.
