Chopinian influences in Skrjabin’s music

The spotlights of critics turned on Alessandro Mazzamuto in particular after Martha Argerich awarded him the prestigious Lodovici Prize at the Busoni Competition in Bolzano in 2011, following which the Sicilian pianist recorded a CD for the Arts label right at the Fazioli Concert Hall. The important international acknowledgements that followed this album projected it all over the world. In Dallas, Texas, where he has now moved for several years, he dedicates himself to teaching and to various artistic directions, as well as an intense concert career.
