Gianluca Bergamasco (Chioggia, 2001) began studying piano at the age of 10. In 2021, he completed his studies at the “Marco Polo” Music High School in Venice under Michele Liuzzi, and in 2023, he earned his Bachelor’s degree with Giorgio Farina at the “Antonio Buzzolla” Conservatory of Music in Adria, graduating with top marks, honours, and special distinction. Following his victory in the 2024 “Premio Venezia,” he has intensified his concert activity in Italy and other European cities. Over the years, he has also refined his skills with Leonora Armellini, Alexander Romanovsky, Riccardo Risaliti, Alberto Nosè, Filippo Gamba, and Pietro De Maria. Among his numerous competition wins, notable achievements include first prizes at the 19th “Marco Bramanti” Piano Competition and the inaugural “Romano Zancan Dall’Alba” Piano Competition.

National piano Competition “Premio Venezia”: only pianists who have graduated with full marks from Conservatories or equal Musical Institutes are admitted to this prestigious competition, organized by the Amici della Fenice Foundation in collaboration with the Teatro La Fenice Foundation. The technical jury is formed by the artistic director of the Teatro La Fenice and five jurors designated by the Amici della Fenice.
