Daniele Martinelli (Italy, 2004),born into a family of musicians, is the winner of the 2025 Premio Venezia at Teatro La Fenice, the First Prize at the 16th MIUR National Arts Award as the best student of the Italian Conservatoires, and the Third Prize at the Verona International Piano Competition. He has made his debut in prestigious venues, from Teatro alla Scala in Milan to the Konzerthaus in Bolzano, from the Teatro Filarmonico in Verona to the Vienna Musikverein. He is regularly invited by major concert institutions and performs as a soloist with both Italian and international orchestras. Supported by the Lieven Piano Foundation in Vienna, he devotes particular attention to rare and contemporary repertoire.
He studies at the Milan Conservatoire, where he recently won the First Prize with Distinction at the Conservatoire Prize. He completed his three‑year Academic Diploma with honours and distinction at the Bergamo Conservatoire under Maria Grazia Bellocchio, with whom he continues to study.
National piano Competition “Premio Venezia”
Only pianists who have graduated with full marks from Conservatories or equal Musical Institutes are admitted to this prestigious competition, organized by the Amici della Fenice Foundation in collaboration with the Teatro La Fenice Foundation. The technical jury is formed by the artistic director of the Teatro La Fenice and five jurors designated by the Amici della Fenice.
