Alberto Nones is recognized by the critics as a pianist who combines musical interpretation with a broader vision. Besides a degree in Piano from the Conservatory of Trento and further studies with renowned masters, he obtained an MA in Philosophy from the University of Bologna, an MSc from the LSE, and a PhD from the University of Trento. He was a researcher and lecturer at various universities in Italy and abroad and currently teaches at the Conservatory of Pesaro. Among his many publications: Chopin, Complete Mazurkas; Brahms, Sonatas for Piano and Violin (with Franco Mezzena); Pietro Cimara: L’Infinito, Arts Songs for Soprano and Piano (with Nunzia Santodirocco); Chopin: Complete Fantasies.
