World-renowned pianist Catherine Wong is the world’s first Chinese female musician to be named «Ambassador of British-Chinese Co-music”, and Cultural Exchange Ambassador appointed by, among others, Australia and Ukraine. Over the years, Catherine has collaborated with the world’s most prestigious orchestras and actively participated in charity work with the Catherine Wong-Sheen Hok Foundation. She was also appointed International Operation Simile Ambassador. In 2017, she was selected as one of the Hong Kong Professional Elite Ladies (Arts and Cultural field. In 2021, she was named Outstanding Woman of the Year in the 7th Outstanding Persons Award assigned by Chinese Today Press.
Playing the Fazioli has been a truly rewarding experience for me, both as a performer and an educator. It is remarkably responsive to subtle differences in touch, offering a wonderfully wide range of tone colours. Fine details in articulation, phrasing and pedaling come through with great clarity. This allows my students to evaluate their playing more objectively and develop stronger musical awareness and expression. More than just a superb concert‑grade piano, it is an excellent tool for music teaching.
