Boris Giltburg has a rare gift for bringing extraordinary narrative intensity even to the most familiar works, illuminating well-known repertoire from a fresh, contemporary, and always engaging perspective, while remaining faithful to the composer’s text and intentions. Active in ambitious concert programs, he is in demand worldwide, performing from Wigmore Hall to the Concertgebouw, and from the Far East to North America. A prominent recording artist, Giltburg has recorded for Naxos since 2015 and has received awards including the Opus Klassik, Diapason d’Or, Choc de Classica, and Gramophone Award. Deeply committed to engaging audiences beyond the concert hall, he runs the blog Classical Music for All for a general audience, alongside numerous articles published in Gramophone, BBC Music Magazine, The Guardian, The Times, and Fono Forum.

Giltburg gives meaning to every note without a hint of mannerism…a tonal intimacy that hardly lets you breathe.
