FAZIOLI SHINES AT THE XIX CHOPIN COMPETITION

FAZIOLI SHINES AT THE XIX CHOPIN COMPETITION

The XIX Chopin International Piano Competition concludes — and once again, FAZIOLI stands among the winners.

The XIX edition of the Chopin International Piano Competition has come to an end — and what an extraordinary journey it has been!

Four years after the previous edition of this prestigious event, the outcome remains strikingly consistent. Once again, the winners of one of the world’s most respected piano competitions have chosen FAZIOLI.
In 2021, Bruce (Xiaoyu) Liu won First Prize, and Martín García García earned Third Prize, also receiving the Warsaw Philharmonic Award for the best performance of a Concerto — both performing on FAZIOLI instruments.

This year, the Gold Medal was awarded to Eric Lu, the American pianist who returned to the Chopin Competition a decade after placing fourth. The remarkable results for FAZIOLI do not end there: the young Chinese pianist Tianyao Lyu, a rising star, received the Fourth Prize ex aequo and the Warsaw Philharmonic Award for the best performance of a Concerto, while Adam Kałduński earned the Bella Davidovich Award for the best performance of a Ballade.

Over the past decade and a half, FAZIOLI pianos have increasingly captured the attention of pianists and juries at international competitions. Many distinguished young artists have chosen FAZIOLI for its distinctive tonal richness, expressive depth, and precision. Among them are musicians destined to become some of the most acclaimed concert pianists of their generation.

These incredible results once again confirm the exceptional synergy between FAZIOLI instruments and the artistry of the pianists who select them. Statistics consistently show that contestants performing on FAZIOLI pianos often achieve outstanding results — and the 2025 Chopin Competition has once again offered clear proof of this enduring success.

The award ceremony and the first three concerts by the winners will take place today, October 21st, at 8 p.m. CET at the Teatr Wielki – Polish National Opera. The event will be broadcast on the Chopin Institute’s YouTube channel.
As per the Competition’s regulations, tonight all pianists will be playing on the Fazioli piano.
