Conversation with Anna Kravtchenko
Anna Kravtchenko, a Italian-Ukrainian pianist who began her ascent of international concertism at 16 years old with the victory, in 1992, of the Busoni Competition in Bolzano, lands in Sacile. Professor since 2013 at the Conservatory of Italian Switzerland, she was a pupil of Leonid Margarius at the Imola Academy, where she taught for 15 years. « If we are committed, classical music will live forever. We must make young people love it because music saves the world », she declares in an interview, revealing her attention to the new generations.

There is something Caravaggesque in her pianism, a sort of sumptuous inebriation of the sound material and, at the same time, of the pictorial one that seems to swell in the air and in the senses.
