Since the first prize won at the 1989 Beethoven International Piano Competition in Vienna, Jasminka Stancul has been a much sought-after interpreter, notably regarding the repertoire of the greatest German composers. Her concert activity brings her to perform in solo recitals as well as with orchestras and chamber ensembles, namely with the Vienna Brahms Trio and the Wiener Streichquartett.
Guest Artist at numerous international festivals, she alternates teaching and performing: Professor at the Music University Ljubljana since October 2013, she regularly takes part in International Master Classes and is jury member at many international competitions.
Fazioli and I have been companions for 30 years. The instruments bewitches through its power, clarity, wealth of nuances and sound richness. There’s no limit to interpretation and expression!
