Deutsche Grammophon
Francesca Dego & Francesca Leonardi
Music by  O. Respighi, I. Stravinsky and M. Castelnuovo-Tedesco

October, 12th marked the release of “Suite Italienne”, the latest CD by Francesca Dego and Francesca Leonardi recorded for the prestigious label Deutsche Grammophon in the beautiful Auditorium “G. Arvedi” of  Museo del Violino in Cremona endowed with a FAZIOLI concert grand.

The album is dedicated to the repertoire of the twentieth century and contains the first world recording of three works by Mario Castelnuovo-Tedesco, a tribute to the Italian composer in the 50th anniversary of his passing, the Sonata in B minor by O. Respighi and the Suite Italienne by I. Stravinsky, that named the album. « Suite Italienne » is actually the whole CD: a tribute to the so-called « Generazione dell’Ottanta », the generation of Italian composers born around 1880 and cosidered the authors of a thorough renewal of Italian music at the beginning of the Twentieth century.

An unmissable recording, capable of surprising and fascinating the listener: available on Amazon and iTunes.
