Winner of the First Prize at the “Ljubljana Festival” International Piano Competition and at the “Telekom – Beethoven” International Piano Competition in Bonn, Alberto Ferro has gained experience performing numerous concerts for prestigious festivals. As a soloist he has played with, among others, the Israel Philharmonic Orchestra, the National Orchestra of Belgium, the Slovenian Philharmonic Orchestra, the Málaga Philharmonic Orchestra and the Orchestra Filarmonica della Fenice, collaborating with conductors such as Thierry Fischer and Marin Alsop. He is professor of piano at the “Vittadini” Conservatory in Pavia.
