Danylo Sayenko (Lviv, Ukraine, 1991) trained at the Mykola Lysenko Academy of Music in his hometown with Jozef Ermin. In 2014, he moved to the Hamburg Hochschule, where he studied with Anna Vinnizka and from 2017, he specialized at the Rostock Hochschule with Mattias Kirschnereit. Among the many awards won, we mention the first prize at the Maria Canals competition in Barcelona in 2015 and the third prize at the Paderewski Competition in Bydgoszcz in 2022, the year in which he won the “Ile de France” Competition of Maisons Laffite. He has performed as a soloist and with orchestra in Ukraine, Italy and other European countries such as Germany, Poland, Switzerland, Greece, Spain, Romania, France, Slovakia and Norway.

Galyna Gusachenko (Kyiv, Ukraine, 1992) was born in Ukraine. She is the winner of several competitions, including the Grand Prize for «Art of the 21st Century,» the first prize at the Elise Mayer Competition, the Roma International Piano Competition, the 3rd France Music Competition, and the Palma D’oro International Piano Competition in Finale Ligure. Her awards collection also includes the Förderpreis of the Anton Rubinstein Akademie in Düsseldorf, the second prize at the 16th International MozArte Piano Competition, the «Fondazione Cuomo» award, and the Istituto Nazionale Fryderyk Chopin Special Prize. Galyna performs recitals in many different European countries and participates in music festivals such as «Klavier-Festival Ruhr.» She also performs with famous symphony orchestras and is involved in various chamber music projects. Galyna has appeared at broadcasts on NDR and WDR-Culture. Currently, she is studying at the Musik-Akademie Basel under the guidance of Prof. Martinez-Mehner and Prof. Gamba.

Palma d’Oro Competition | Finale Ligure The Competition was born in 1974 from the idea of Aloise Vecchiato and Bartolomeo Marco, and since 2015 it has been associated with the Alink-Argerich Foundation. Managed by the Association of Musical Culture “Palma d’Oro” with the support of the Municipality of Finale Ligure and the De Mari Foundation, the Competition is now in its 49th edition and enriched by a calendar of concerts also aimed at enhancing places of historical and cultural interest of the territory. The German city of Donzdorf awards a special prize and collaborates with the winners’ concerts.
